The STC Office of Financial Aid budgets FESOG funds as required by the U.S. Department of Education so that students who are eligible have an opportunity to be considered for an award in every semester.

Federal Work Study

Students who have unmet need as defined by the U.S. Department of Education who are hired by an approved Work Study employer will be awarded Federal Work study funds. The total amount of Work Study funds that a student may earn is determined by:

  • The amount of money that the student earns by working, and
  • The total amount of the student's unmet need, and
  • The amount of money available in the approved Work Study employer's work study budget
