The TEXAS Grant was established by the Texas Legislature to help well-prepared high school graduates with financial need attend public institutions of higher education in Texas. Funding is limited, so applying early is key! The FAFSA Application is available on or after January 1st.

Texas Grant - Towards, EXcellence, Access and Success

Note: Beginning with the 2014-2015 award year, State regulations mandate that Texas Grant will only be awarded to renewal students. A renewal students is one who has been awarded this grant prior to Fall 2014. These students will continue to receive Texas Grant up to 150 credit hours, until they receive a bachelor's degree, or for five years if enrolled in a 4-year program, or six years if enrolled in a 5-year program.

The TEOG Grant was established by the Texas Legislature to help students with financial need attend public community colleges, public technical colleges, or public state colleges in Texas. Funding is limited, so applying early is key! The FAFSA Application is available on or after January 1st.
