Transfer Students

Students who transfer from one college or university to another are responsible to notify BOTH SCHOOLS that they intend to transfer before they are awarded any type of aid.

Students who apply for financial aid at South Texas College after receiving Federal Pell Grant funds at another school during the same award year (the 2004-2005 award year is from 7/1/2004 to 6/30/2005) must provide the Office of Financial Aid with the information below before they can be accurately awarded. Students are responsible to notify STC of their status before they are awarded. STC will be notified by the U.S. Department of Education when a student has used up their eligibility AFTER THE STUDENT HAS BEEN AWARDED. This will result in an adjustment to the amount of funds awarded and the student will owe STC the difference.
