PEERS Mentoring Program

PEERS (Providing Experiences to Ensure Retention and Success) is a student-to-student mentoring program. The transition into college can be difficult for any new student - locating classrooms, making new friends, seeking out resources, and just getting through classes.

A Peer Mentor serves as a friend and guide to help new and transfer students adjust to college life.  Peer Mentors also form an important link between new students and South Texas College, helping students utilize the many resources available from various campus programs.
