Collaboration, Assistance, Resource and Education (CARE) Team
South Texas College CARE Team plays a crucial role in supporting students who may be experiencing emotional, psychological, or other types of distress. Comprised of a dedicated group of professionals, the team focuses on providing assistance through confidential consultations and connecting students to appropriate resources, both on and off campus.
By taking a proactive, preventative approach, the CARE Team works to identify early signs of distress and intervene in a supportive and non-punitive way. Their primary goal is to help students overcome challenges and succeed academically and personally. The CARE Team aims to foster a campus environment where students can access the help they need in times of difficulty, while promoting overall well-being and academic success.
