Our target audience for the program engagement will consist of traditional, prospective and dual credit students. Registration for Programs is now open! We look forward to your continued partnership as our commitment to our students sets the tone to connect to purposeful learning and guided pathways.

ISD Partners

Student success is a partnership and we can’t do this without you. Students depend on your guidance and we’re here to help you find answers to their questions. Career Exploration Day helps students navigate difficult decisions about program options and gives them a glimpse at career opportunities.

Here’s who we want to connect with:

• Students “shopping around” for the right fit in College.
• Students still questioning final decisions for a college major.
• Students who show tremendous potential but not sure how they connect to the learning.

We strongly encourage to start conversations with students once they have completed the Career Coach Assessment. Unlike other assessments, Career Coach gives students a vision for opportunities in our region to include wage expectations, similar careers, and how it aligns with programs at South Texas College.

Career Exploration Day brings programs to life, connects students to faculty, and centers them in conversations with industry partners excited to share part of the success with students.
