Faculty
Faculty are at the front lines, facilitating student success and serving as the critical connection point with the Office of Career & Employer Services and with employers.
Bring Career Services into the Classroom!
As you're planning your syllabus, remember that our office and community partners are available to make classroom presentations to your students! CES can be embedded in your classroom in a variety of ways. We welcome any chance to be included as part of assignments and love for our services to be promoted in your syllabus. We have a full toolkit to helping our students succeed.
Before you request a classroom presentation, please keep in mind:
- Requests must be submitted at least one week before presentation date.
- Faculty should be present at the start of class to introduce CES staff to the classroom and take attendance.
- CES sign-in sheets and session evaluations are for CES records and will not be made available without prior approval from staff.
Motivating the Undecided Student
The success of students is a shared responsibility and one our staff is happy to carry with you. We’re eager to help students explore and network around a targeted career field. Our office assists students in developing and articulating curricular experiences that help ensure they are competitive in their future pursuits. Our resources help to connect pro-grams to help students clarify academic and career goals.
